David F. Miller

David brings 36 years of industry experience to the Altheide Tam Financial Group. He started in the financial services industry in 1984 with Dean Witter Reynolds in Walnut Creek. After establishing a stellar reputation in the ensuing 13 years, Dean Witter management (now Morgan Stanley) asked David to open up a Morgan Stanley branch in Danville. Then, in 2007, David moved his entire practice to Wells Fargo Advisors in Walnut Creek. David has the title of Managing Director - Investments, and in 2008 was recognized as a Platinum Advisor. The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on the past year, and professionalism. Additional criteria, best practices and team structure, may also be used to determine recipients. David graduated from California State University at Sacramento with an undergraduate degree in Finance. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration from CSUS.

David and his wife live in Danville and have three children. David’s children have all graduated college and live in various towns. When he's not golfing or riding his mountain bike, he can be found with his family at their vacation home near Monterey or hanging out with his son and father, who live in Montana.
